Nothing against the book, I think I just like my MMC to be a little toxic

Caleb and Layla are so sweet! And I loved that Layla finally got her love story. Fake dating and he falls first are some of my favorite tropes and I feel like they were done well, but this wasn't my favorite Lovelight book.

Teach me how to date and I’ll teach you how to cum. Nice guy, ridiculous date disasters, seeing a friend differently, success without approval. “Good girl”. Everyone deserve love and tending. Ice cream and baking.

This may have been my favorite so far! Like any romance series, we move on to the next couple, and I didn’t really think I’d be into Layla’s POV. However, she ended up being so REAL and so relatable, I absolutely loved her and rooted for her. This one made me so happy at points I was tearing up. I felt a little more heartache in this one than the others, but maybe that was just the trope in this one getting to me more (Layla felt more broken by her past than the previous POV women). Still resolved really quickly! This series is so satisfying and sweet and lovely and I’ll read them all forever
