This was such a pleasure to read. It's a deep, rich & honest book that takes the reader on a journey through creativity. Andrew Peterson writes some brilliant chapters, constantly weaving in stories from his life & sharing the wisdom he has gleaned along the way. My favourite chapter was 'Integrated Imagination' which is about how stories can echo the gospel. It is a book that warms your heart.

This book is geared I would say to the songwriter and musician, but it is jammed packed full of great insight. My biggest takeaway is that there is no “creative”, because we are all creative. Fabulous book!

While I'm not exactly a "creative," this book was so, so good for me to read. I have a bunch of kids who ARE creatives and this book was helpful to me as their dad. There was a lot here for wanna be creatives like me too.

Overall, I was not enjoying the book really at all. I don't think that it is a bad book objectively though. I just didn't like it, but I can see how others would like it and get a lot out of it.

This is inspirational and a good reminder of what life is and what it means to create. I love that he emphasizes that we are all creative. I've been trying to tell that to everyone I know for years and he has thought it through very well.
