I really enjoyed the art in this one. It's still creepy, but maybe not one the same level as Burton's movie adaptation. But it's still a solid, cute, fun story.

I have read Coraline every year for about five years now and I love it every time. I figured this time I would do it in a different format so I bought the graphic novel. It turned up at about 5:30pm and I was finished with it by 7:30pm. I read it so fast haha.

The story follows Coraline who discovers an other world that mirrors her own through a door in the Jones’ new flat. Only real difference, everyone has button eyes. Her Other Mother wants Coraline to have button eyes too meaning that she can stay with her Other Mother.

I will always rate Coraline at 5* because it’s amazing. I love the story and the characters and it’s short but not too short. The graphic novel version of this was amazing and I loved the illustrations and the adaptation that Russell created.
