this was so underwhelming that I took months to get through it. The plot seemed all over the place and not a stringent continuation of the first book. The world-building is interesting, but the books are so short, everything from characters to countries seems superficial. I was so bored that I missed plot points (not that it mattered) even though the story is meant to be action-driven ...

Not as fun as the predecessors and the ending was very very annoying.

The ending to this was a huge disappointment. This was the weakest in the trilogy.
