This was my least favorite one in the series. This one starts with Darren being forced to go school, which I thought was dumb and pointless. It was interesting to see some old characters return (some much more than others).
Spoiler it was interesting to see Debbie again, but the relationship between her and Darren was awkward because of the different in how old they looked. And there was no reason to bring RV back
But more than anything this one felt incomplete and just ended abruptly on unnecessary cliffhanger.

Although this book started off good, it got boring during the middle and ending. It was interesting, and I enjoyed it a little more than the others, and was able to sit and read it in a day, but, unlike the beginning of this series, it was not worthy or 5 stars.

Once again another fantastic addition to continuation of Darren Shan’s story! I liked being reunited with some familiar faces from earlier in the series! That ending was something! I had a feeling that person was behind all this. I’m excited to see where this goes from here!

Wow! So many twists and turns! This was definitely a fun installment to the series! In this book, Mr. Crepsley and Darren return to the full vampire’s hometown after they hear of an abundance of Vampaneze murders.
