An incredible small town romance with a tough, lovable, protective man and a woman that drives him crazy. What is not to love? Highly recommended!

I enjoyed the beginning, the middle was too long, repetitive, and boring, and the ending was interesting but what I expected. I liked the storyline and all the characters, flaws, and all. However, I more than likely will never reread it.

I am quickly thinking I need to read more of Score's backlist. Until this book, the only thing I've read by Score is Things We Never Got Over, and I was so obsessed with that book and meant to read the second book. But they all tend to be bigger books, and by now, we all know I get a little antsy when we hit the 400s and higher. I ended up picking this book up because we were going to Atlanta. When we are driving somewhere, I normally always drive on the interstate. My husband drives in the cities because I love listening to audiobooks while I drive, and that's what happened here. This book was so good and made the drive go by way too fast. I ended up listening to this all the way there, on the way back. I still had some left to finish up on when I got home, and instead of just taking forever to read the book, I ended up listening to the rest of it as soon as I got home. This book just had so much going on, and I freaking loved Remi! She just came off as this super charismatic woman, but she has many layers that she keeps hidden this time. When she comes home, she's a grown-up who has dealt with many things. We would jump between today's timeline and back to when they were all teenagers, and we see that this is the same girl, but she's been through something. We don't know what it is until she tells us. I was obsessed with this book, and I really need to read more of the backlist and finish the Knockemout series!

Really great story with a mixture of romance and mystery/thriller. A slight slow burn but about 3/4 way through the book it begins to feel too far removed from the plot as it focuses heavily on the spice.
A lot of repetitive words & phrases.
I loved this book with the murderous spin to a romance novel but could have done with a little less spice.

Lucy Score sure knows how to write 'em šŸ’•

This book has all of Lucy's best qualities. Lovable main characters, a perfectly grumpy MMC, feisty FMC, a hint of suspense, a great dose of pining, and hotttttt spice.

I would have adored a post-wedding epilogue with a preview of a growing Callan family, but the epilogue of the pool scene was a true gift šŸ˜‹

Lucy Score is a go-to author for me when Iā€™m in a slump or need something I know will be good.

I loved this book and the characters. It was a little darker of a romance than normal for her (or that I have read so far).  I enjoyed the morally gray characters and I adored their banter.

Forever Never follows Remi who has returned to her hometown of Mackinac and her eyes are haunted. The person who has always been able to read her and protect her, Brick, wants to know who put that fear in her eyes. As they start to grow closer again, things might not be as simple as they seem.
Lucy Score has worked her way into my favorite author's list and I will be picking up any book that she releases. I LOVED this book. I though this was so well done and the abuse that one of the characters endures is handled well.
This book was definitely extra spicy which I loved. I thought that Lucy Score did a great job in this book making sure to balance the relationship between Remi and Brick and the ongoing plot very well. I was so sucked into this book that I would read more pages than I was planning each day as I wanted to know what was going to happen next. I didn't really guess the plot at first and I loved how she handled the plot so well.
I am so excited to pick up other books from Lucy Score as I loved this one so much.
