I do so enjoy a visit to the ton. Definitely the spiciest of the Bridgerton books thus far!

This is definitely my favorite book so far! Michael is probably my favorite Bridgerton love interest. I loved the way this book handled grief but also finding and discovering a new love.

Oh this is probably tied for my least favourite of the series so far. I really liked the first half where Francesca and Michael are trying to grapple with their grief. It felt so raw and emotional, you end up caring a lot for the characters. How they grow, their desires to show up for each other, but how shame, fear and sorrow hold them back. But the last half was a brutal slog. I did not like the latter half of Michael’s characterization, which was brutish, mean and seemed pressuring in a way that made me uncomfortable. And it’s like Francesca lost all personality, other than becoming some sort of “oh my” kind of character. It also felt like it was just rehashing some of the same issues at the beginning of the book without adding anything new to the plot. I ended listening to the last third of the book on 1.8x speed just to get through it.

Picking this up bcs I watched 1 reels that said it's the spiciest of the Bridgerton series, and oh boy itu didn't disappoint 👌🏼🎀

Light and easy reading, I love the banter at the first half. The sec nd half was a bit down bcs I don't like pushy Michael and inconsistent Frannie. Still enjoyable, tho.

On the bright side, the matter was delicately handled and the ending is satisfactory. Esp the epilogues. Yes, plural. I love how it explored deeply into their feelings and the acceptance.

If you're into the male character who madly in love with her but she has no idea and she's your cousin's wife so you created a reputation by being wicked and seductive to cover your feelings for her bcs you love her and your cousin, give this book a go👌🏼
