This is a super sweet, low-angst alien romance. It's so low-angst, however, that there's basically no conflict. I kept waiting for something exciting to happen, but other than the

fire that burns down the house and the argument with the landlord

, there's no driving action. This is very much a simple slice of life story. 

The fact that he's an alien just made him super sexy. The spicy scenes were hot. 

I have not read the other books in the series, so I guess I didn't know what to expect from this one really. It was a nice palate cleanser for me to read between other more exciting books.

I really enjoyed this book.

Super low angst with a really obsessively caring MC. Single parent romance mixed with alien romance. Wonderful.
