The Last Goodbye is a highly engaging story right from the very beginning. The book is emotional at times, but one that had me rooting for both Anna and Brody as they worked their way through their grief. Each of these characters was extremely well developed. I loved their ability to push each other out of their comfort zone to reclaim some joy in their lives. There is a scene reminiscent of Sleepless in Seattle that will keep you guessing. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable read.

I listened to the audiobook version of this book which was narrated by Antonia Beamish. The clarity and tone of her voice was perfect for this story. I would not hesitate to recommend this version to those who enjoy this format.

I loved this book so much. Women's fiction is not generally a genre I gravitate to as I'm not a huge fan of fluffy romance. This was not that at all and I was more than pleasntly surprised. I connected with these characters and felt I was part of their unique story. I loved watching the mystery of Brody unfold. He was by far my favorite character and I very much enjoyed grtting to know him. I was often annoyed with Anna and some of her actions, but learned to understand why. I would highly recommend this if you enjoy characters creating deep connections and coping with loss.

I loved the storyline and the unexpected twists. The history of one character was not what I thought Which was great. I loved that this book highlighted mental health and the importance of speaking out
