The knitting shop sounded so wonderful and like a great place to knit, buy yarn, to gather with friends. It also reminded me of my first time knitting socks only I knitted them on straight needles at a mammas group with friends and them helping me understand what to do etc. A wonderful story about knitting, friendships, overcoming different losses, love, and unlikely friendships being formed. It also included the ups and downs of teen life, the different losses, problems relationships play but not in the way these are often portrayed in novels eg the break up and get back together like nothing really happened etc it was nice to read a novel not like that.

I hadn’t read the first blossom street novel “the shop on blossom street” before this one but I’m looking forward to reading about the start of Lydias wool shop and her new life free from cancer.

I’d recommend this book to anyone who knows a knitter, who loves knitting and a great read about the true ups and downs of life and friendships formed along the way.

An easy read about the relationships that develop between 3 women and their knitting instructor, unlikely to be friends in the outside world. Debbie Macomber's characters are always very real. She understands the world of women and their friendships.

The return to Blossom Street and the Lydia's knitting classes was very much like going to visit an old friend. The beginning was so warm and welcoming I just snuggled down in the couch and dug right in. With a new project for a new class, Lydia meets another varied small group that. A group that at first appears to be too different to ever mesh that eventually grows to be close friends.

While this may sound like a rinse and repeat of book one, the characters' stories are new and very interesting - each with their hidden depths and dreams. Macomber weaves their stories together in a light and touching fashion that was just plain enjoyable to read.

A sweet little story. I listened to the audiobook and I found it a little difficult to keep track of all of the characters. I wish there had been more scenes that showed all of the characters interacting with each other. Without that, their relationships felt a little forced/ far fetched.
