Not my fave CoHo book. But still wasn’t expecting some of the things that happened!

Wtf was this book. I hated it, would not recommend. I hate the main character, he’s an asshole.

Okay, this novel really surprised me. Of all the Colleen Hoover books Verity is still my favorite - I love being left in bewilderment with a good twist.

Layla hooked me pretty quickly but lost me when it introduced some paranormal elements (I went into this book blindly). It piqued my interest but I wasn't sure the direction this story was headed. I made many predictions in my mind but the ending was so very different than anything I was expecting! (Again, love a good twist). I finished this book in 2 days because I was so invested in this story.

It may not be everyone's cup of tea but it was a different than any book I've read before which was a pleasant change.
