This is the first long chapter book my daughter has sat through and wanted me to continue to read. She asked for it during the day all weekend long so that's a great sign! we are reading #2 now.

Kids loved it. Interesting with the graphics. Don't love the plot personally but it could be worse. Great for sneaking in some bigger words for vocabulary development. Talking about underwear never fails with kids.
