cute little book i love it. i think i preferred the first book in the series to this one but i wasn’t disappointed. sera and tyler are so very cute together, but i sadly prefer chase and bailey i can’t get over their banter.

I started this book earlier this year in one of my worst depression reading slumps and could not get through it. I finally repacked it back up and it was an entirely different experience. I enjoyed their relationship and how supportive Tyler was with everything.

I enjoyed this. The sexual tension, the chemistry between Seraphina and Tyler was great and as individual characters I liked them both. Tyler was very sweet and his grumpiness was countered perfectly by Seraphina’s bright personality. The plot is a bit heavy at times - definitely check the content notes, especially if you’re sensitive about topics relating to cancer - but I thought the book handled this sensitively.
Aside from this heaviness, the book was very gentle; there’s not a lot of conflict between Seraphina and Tyler, the conflict was mostly external, which I quite liked. The romance was very cute – they had a lovely, touching bond and the book is very hot and steamy as well. It was an easy read and I had fun with it.
Content Notes: Brother’s best friend / best friend’s sister, roommates, forced proximity, one night stand, hidden/mistaken identity, hockey, college, forbidden.

Are you all for real ?
This was rushed, had literally no Plot. The “spicy” scenes kept just going I had to skip most of it.
1. It would have been nice to know more about the mom 2. what happened to his career, everything was about Ser
3. Abby and Rob were forgotten
4. Chase just accepted it after a page ?!
5. Her illness was also just some side-thing ?

The beginning of the book was great and enjoyable but the ending really did not do it for me.
