At 23 pages of story (and 9 of adverts) this is the shortest comic I read this week, and it feels like there might be a fun story in there, but I don't think it's appeared yet. The comic is setting up to be a mix of a Jurassic Park movie, crossed with Godzilla vs... well, everything.
SpoilerThe US government has been dumping every supernatural beast it ever caught on one half of a tropical island. Ogres. Trolls. Giant sea serpents. Killer squids. Elves. Yup, elves. On the other half of the island was a research centre where the government conducted "experiments". Then it all went pear-shaped, and now a super-competent elite mercenary military hoo-rah team of stereotypes need to escort in the mysterious scientist and her bodyguard to recover important research that was abandoned when everyone ran away and get off the island within 48 hours before the US military solves all of the islands problems through a healthy campaign of carpet bombing.

On the one hand, the comic could be a lot of fun, if you've ever wanted to watch a mix and match throwdown between supernatural beasties from any genre you can imagine or pull out of the toybox under your bed. On the other, it feels a bit thin in terms of storytelling, despite the first issue being almost all exposition. I'll probably try issue 2 to see what happens, but I'm not convinced yet.
