Really love this series and it was great to be back with these characters and this setting. Feels like a good conclusion if this is the last in the series, though I'd love to have more in this setting even if its different characters! There's a lot of worldbuilding potential I would have loved to know more about.

This book was so FUN! I picked it up from the library because of the cover and didn't realize it was part of a series. I thought it held up on its own.

Confession time. I primarily kept reading because I adore Vakar. Eva has her moments, and the rest of the crew is good, but Vakar is an unexpected delight. This was fun, although I think it helped that I can't understand most Spanish and so ignored all the potty humor/cussing Eva does. This one wraps up the trilogy satisfactorily, but I found it a bit slow. While I enjoyed all these books, I liked the middle one best. The romance and the cats were the best parts.
