Are there some problems with this book? Yes, certainly. But they did not diminish my enjoyment of the MCs slowly unfolding relationship. Initially I had some reservations about the extremely large age gap. Badly done, it could hit some of my more sensitive buttons. But Jack was wonderful! And under Jack's tutelage, Ricky's character developed from grappling teen to confident and mature young man. Did I mention that Jack was hot? And sexy? And wonderful?

Beautiful love story. I loved Jack and Ricky and how their love for each other developed. The sex was hot and very loving. With a bit more plot it would have been a 5 star for me.

This book was okay. A high percentage of the narrative was smut, which, while hot, seemed excessive. The narrative was also a bit too "tell, not show," and the dialogue seemed unrealistic at times. I did like the characters, though, and the fact that the romance wasn't instant. It was developed very nicely.

I'm usually the type of person that finishes a book the same day that it is starter, however, this book took me a while to finish. Not only was it super long, but it was super intense, and I am very glad that I did. Ricky and Jack have been neighbors for a long time, since Ricky was 8 yrs old in fact. One of the interesting dynamics in the story is the age difference, since Ricky is 19 and Jack is 48. The change from attraction to lust and finally to love is interesting to see grow and develop, we learn about the characters and how much they love each other.

What is that saying?...You want an older lover in your younger years to teach how to enjoy sex, and an younger lover in your older years to remind you how to enjoy it...
Ohhh Jack and Ricky...those two were something else. Instant explosive chemistry, they were so HOT together, and their love had a slow burn to it that was fantastic, all the time getting better and better. Jack was funny and smart and I LOVED how much he delighted in Ricky as a lover they were so perfect for each other.
This is great romance and the sex could melt your brains...Loved it....Can't give it a full five stars because the plot seemed to be a bit repetitive at times....but don't let that discourage you, Jack and Ricky are a delight to read.
