Listened on audio. I didn’t like this book at all, all she did was jump to conclusions without any evidence and the whole part about souls really threw me off and took me out of the book. I did not see the twist coming with Len but mostly this book made me mad/annoyed listening to it.

I liked this book…until about the last 100 pages and then I was intensely angry but kept reading so I could be done with it. I cannot do unrealistic…and yea, this goes off the damn rails, hard.

this book needs more recognition and hype because WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK WAS THAT?!

first of all, the synopsis of the book already had me intrigued but the more i read, the more i wanted to read. it was such an addictive read and i really wanted to finish it in a day but i wasn’t home and then i had to study and stuff so couldn’t but this is definitely one of the unputdownable books EVERR!

the characters were all GREAT! like yes i disliked the main character at times but it wasn’t so bad.
the plot was AMAZING! like how tf did he come up with a story like this?
and the plot twists were INSANEE! like i did not saw any of them coming.

ngl this book doesn’t just have one plot twist, it has multiple but they all seem to come towards like 60% of the book but it’s sooo worth it!

just when i am recovering from one plot twist, just pages later another hits me HARD then another then another. i was SOO anxious reading this at night, kinda scared of the dark as well but anyways, it was an AMAZING read!

definitely one of my top faves of this year!

Oh for f*cks sake- it’s like she got 2/3 through the book and couldn’t figure out a way to wrap it up so she used a lazy, virtually unexplained paranormal twist. Lame lame lame!

It was hard to remember this character was meant to be in their late thirties to early forties the entire time. She felt much older.

DID I JUST READ MY NEW FAVORITE SAGER BOOK?!

though this book starts as a slow burn it packs a PUNCH! shocking twists and turns until the end that left me shook. as soon as i thought i had it figured out, Sager throws another twist that makes this a totally unputdownable book.

pretty much every character is unreliable and the story is filled with red herrings. Casey gives off some WOMAN IN THE WINDOW vibes (drunk, watching neighbors) but is way more likable and has a bit of a comedic undertone to her perspective.

overall, if you enjoy Sager’s writing, i recommend this one. it’s a unique story with a great plot twist that takes a bit to build but it’s so worth it.

I struggled reading this book I think because I’m still stuck on romance & smut that it was hard to get into this without losing interest. Also the twist at the end was nothing like I expected & not in a good way.

Wtffffffffffffffffffff. For the first at least half of this book I was ready to declare this book amazing. Five stars. Tell all my friends. Suggest it to my book clubs. Wow. Then *IT* happened. Why?! Just WHY?!?!?! There are so many things that could have been done with this that would have been infinitely better than than the veer off the cliff of reality that the author chose to take. If you take away all the weirdness in the book, it’s still decent, so if you choose to read this just prepare yourself for…um, the unexpected.
