I Love Love Love this book! I can see myself reading it 10 times over because it’s that empowering! Marshawn gives us her testimony in a way that any person; spiritual or not can relate to. From page to page she dives deeper into her story about her personal struggles, spiritual struggles and everything in between. Every chapter it just got better and better. God spoke to me so many times throughout reading it and overall it inspired me to #BelieveBigger

If you’re in search for redefining your life purpose or figuring out what you’re meant to do or gaining the confidence to do so and where to start then this is definitely the book for you!

The opening, the standout portion of this book takes readers through a devastating experience Evans-Daniels went through. It's real, raw, and vulnerable. It add to her relatability, that she isn't perfect. As a whole the book focuses on the journey of growth. Evans-Daniels narrates the audiobook herself, making for a good listening experience. The tone is highly positive and simple to understand.

Her candor about a very hurtful personal situation that happened to her offers a refreshing take of honesty. She could’ve kept the details private, as many of them could be deemed as embarrassing, and maybe she did keep some things private. However, she seemed very open and authentic in the feelings that she discussed about it.

There were many lessons throughout the book, most are along the lines of trusting in God and your inner voice. These are not new ideas that haven’t been heard before. One big takeaway is that one can bounce back from any situation, and also one may have to let go of previous ideas in order to advance to the next level in life.

The book grabs readers with an engaging drama-filled story in the beginning. Although, it was very predictable. Readers can easily tell where the story is going to lead. After the intro, things slow down quite a bit. There is a lot of motivational speak, interspersed with personal anecdotes. The tone is a mixture of marketing-like sound bites and churchy rhetoric. The ideas discussed are not necessarily new ways of thinking or big, deep ideas, but rather just another's interpretations of biblical messaging. These portions are a bit monotonous. Unfortunately, the majority of the book reads this way.

Evans-Daniels has a positive energy about herself and is likable. She's very ambitious given her many accomplishments mentioned in the book. However, the writing isn’t necessarily a standout. I would recommend for Christian women in particular, as there is a lot of Christian rhetoric. Also, if you just like simple, upbeat, light, motivational things, this could fall into those categories..

It took me a while to finish this book because I truly went through the processes she was going through. I feel as if I’ve read this book at a moment in my life where I needed these guiding words. Coming from another woman and written well I feel as if she was speaking directly into my soul with some of the book. I’d definitely recommend.

Wow! What a great book! This book caught my attention at the library and I really did not know what to expect, but I felt like I needed to read it. I’m so glad I did and I was sad to take it back today.

The author, Marshawn, gives some excellent advice on figuring out your talents and gifts. Her own story is told throughout the book so the reader can see how she stumbled upon her life mission. Not only will Believe Bigger help you realize your talents that you’ve forgotten, ignored, or never considered, her thoughtful questions will give you ideas about what to do with those gifts. God gives us talents, hopes, and dreams for a reason! Marshawn gives you permission and encouragement to step into those dreams and live them! Find where you are on her Purpose Map, and move from your comfort zone into the glory zone.

This is not just for business-minded people. It’s for anyone who feels stuck and wants to believe, dream, and live a bigger, more purpose-filled life.

I started this book at the beginning of the year and then put it down because it was pretty boring. I picked it up again a few days ago. This book was about a woman’s life after disruption. The man she was going to marry was cheating on her with his ex wife. She was able to grow from that disappointment and learn. She built an amazing business and followed God to a better bigger version of herself. She has inspired so many people including me. All that being said, this was a very boring book. It is a good “reference” and “go to” book for a step by step guide to tools that can make your life better; lead you to your purpose. But it’s not helpful if it reads like a textbook filled with tools and tips instead of heart and story.
