It took me a while to finish, but when I started it, it was everything I needed. And now that I finished it, especially before the new year, it's more than everything I needed. This book has everything. Is everything. I don't even know how to put it all in words. Just read it lol

I was looking for a book the would inspire me to believe bigger with the help of my Christian faith.
This book wasn’t it for me.
Yes this is hopeful, grounded in the word, and very vulnerable. However, it feels exceptionally repetitive and the overall thesis feels like she’s projecting. The only way to you purpose is some major life shake up by God. I would have loved for this to be more about believing bigger, walking through the Bible and finding all the places God calls us to accept and ask for bigger. This was a lot of repetition, and could have been a lovely YouTube video.

I first listened to this through audiobook but quickly realized I needed to order a physical copy and fill it with highlights and thoughts along the way.

Marshawn spoke to me on a spiritual, emotional, and professional level. I recognized myself and my own experiences as she shared stories and situations in her childhood, adulthood, and in the career field.

There are so many thought-provoking quotes in this book. Many of which, led me to tears as I read it.

This book is a representation of true surrender as well as true grit.

Have you experienced disruption in your life? Are you looking for purpose? If so, this is a must read. Even if the above doesn't apply you can still get something from this book. While reading this book I often thought to myself, "is she reading my mind." She uses her life as example and provides detailed journaling questions to help you discover your purpose.

I loved Marshawn's honesty and transparency in this book as she realizes that it is necessary in order for others to grow, and sometimes comfort is on the back burner. She was brave in doing that and obedient as well. Also loved the tools she provided for readers to use during the book and afterward for our own use or to help others. I was a little bothered by her saying on more than one occasion that "money is the root of all evil" when quoting what the Bible says about money and why she felt conflicted at first in what she felt her purpose was. This is not what the Bible says, as it clearly states that the LOVE of money is the root of all evil, not money itself. I was waiting for her to make that clear. Maybe she did and I missed it. Overall, great read and I will be referring it to others.
