Read for class. I wouldn’t say this is one of my favourite books, but I do love the way ambition is portrayed and constantly presented to the reader to highlight its dark depths.
God’s ultimate control is conveyed as the Witches do not succeed in the end and Duncan’s son (the son of God’s chose king according to the divine right of kings) is named king.

I know this play is great. It's written wonderfully and it's themes are incredibly implemented. I just really didn't enjoy it. It was so boring. I didn't care about what was happening. I didn't find the characters compelling. I wanted so badly to like this, because as I read it I could point out everything that made it great - but it just didn't click with me.

The first play I read outside of school curriculum, and I have to say I regret nothing
