cozy and reflective, this is a slice of life novel for anyone who has ever dreamed owning their own bookstore or for those of us who work as booksellers and want to romanticize our lives a little.

the translation from korean is expertly done while also keeping some of the language grammatical stylization.

this is a book of very little plot, but that is absolutely the point and holds your attention in a dream like state. slow and and calm, but delightful.

This book has held my favourite bookmark hostage for several months as i reached a point in the book where i was a little bored of reading as not much actually happens in the book so i stopped for a while.

It is simply the lives of several people and moves very slowly but it was cozy and nice to read, albeit very slowly.

Not really for me is all, a bit dry and moany in my opinion. But I quite liked the last few chapters. During reading I wasn’t eager to pick it up again to see what happened, it was a bit boring for me. I wouldn’t read it again.
