Amazing book with even more twists and turns them I would've thought possible. This is one of my favorites so far! Looking back to the first book, one can see how much the characters have developed and how they've changed in such a short amount of time. The whole creepiness factor returns to the series towards the end of this book and I am quite glad that it's back... Not glad about what the baddie does, but I like that it's creepy again.

I love this series and each book is good so far unlike some series where it gets worse the longer it goes.

This book was good but I liked the other books a little better.

The things that happened in this book were entertaining and I really enjoyed them but I feel like this was a little slower in the pacing but it still held my attention til the end. It had some interesting plot points and some very interesting things happen and I really enjoyed learning more about the house and the characters because it made for some things very interesting.

The characters grew a lot and learned what it means to work together to get things done in a safe manner and to do it well. It was a very good and very fun and enjoyable.

I didn't expect somethings that happened and I was kept wanting to know what was going to happen to them all even the mean characters. They all had something going on and it made me want to know but it seemed that I would have to wait to see what it was if I kept reading.

I loved the suspense that was in each of these books because it makes it fun to read and very much enjoyable.

This whole series is amazing! Theres action and adventure around every corner. Every one of Robert Liparulo's books in the Dreamhouse Kings series is amazing. He knows how to capture attention and keep you reading past your bedtime. There is never a moment in any of this series that is boring. I encourage anyone who like adventure and historical books to read this.

"But they haven't won. Somehow we've always gotten away. We're still in this house. We still have a chance."

Timescape was my first ✨spooky✨ read of the month! (Well, kinda... I figured it should still count because it's a mystery).

Dislikes:
1) Xander, Xander, Xander, Xander... He got on my nerves a little bit, honestly he's just digging the hole deeper for everyone around him.
I mean, come on, who makes such dumb decisions?! If I were Xander's dad I would have locked him in his room long ago!
Xander hardly ever listens to his father, and his dad always has to come save the day because Xander can't learn from his stupid actions. He is constantly pressuring David into tagging along in his schemes. And his 'plans' rarely get the Kings anywhere.

2) The story feels a bit repetitive... But I still enjoyed my time in this book.

Likes:
1) David's growing relationship with Jesse! I truly hope once life gets back to normal they can continue to spend time together.

2) Something I have always loved about this series is that it is centered around family. Sure, there are some characters who are not related to the Kings, but the majority are. Our main characters are siblings, with parents that are alive!

3) I loved all the movie references in Timescape, it just seemed like there were more than in the previous books. And of course, the history facts! Makes my nerdy heart soar.

Another solid installment in the series, a very fast pace that picks up exactly where book 3 ended. Xander is still an annoying protagonist, making more and more reckless and unbelievable choices. I'm pretty invested at this point to see where the story goes so I will continue.

I stopped this book around 32% because I lost interest. It would be nice to know why all this is happening, but I don’t care enough to read three and a half books to find out. The writing style never meshed with me and it brought a disconnection between me and the characters and the plot. I just didn’t care.
