I can hardly form coherent thoughts when I try to review these books immediately after finishing but I couldn't not say anything so here's my end of book frenzy babble.

WHAT. THE. HECK. I thought after reading 11 books by Cassandra Clare that I'd have some comprehension of how she's going to end each of these books - wrong. Just so wrong. I couldn't have prepared myself for such an ending. I also wasn't expecting another series to come close to The Infernal Devices, literally ever, but here we are. This book is gut wrenching, agonizing, shocking, you name it and I felt it.

I'm so invested in the characters in this story and the entire Blackthorn family as a whole. I love them all so much and can't believe the trauma they're put through. I'd be a mess if I were in this family lol.

I love Cassandra's inclusion in her stories, her unique and fun and quirky characters and I always lover seeing friends from TMI & TID pop up. I'm going to hopefully be back to this review eventually but for now it's a 5 star read for me and I'm going to clear my schedule to jump into the next book because I can't think about anything else right now.

Apart from that tragedy, I loved the going to

plot line but I feel

the mark and Cristina getting tied together could have taken us somewhere cooler bc that’s like wattpad shii. It had so much potential!!! And it just went nowhere

. And what’s gonna happen with the Mark, Cristina and Kieran Sitchh… At this point they should have a 3 way open relationship. But yer, The Julian and Emma forbidden love thing lowkey started to annoy me bc they just kept on repeating the SAME THING over and over againnnn. Like yup.. we get it. Julian was DOWN BAD crying at the gym frrrrr. OH and Kit slays. I love Kit. I ship Kit and Ty 🫶… If Ty doesn’t make a playlist for Kit to confess his love I don’t want the next book.
