I enjoyed this one more than the first book - simply because I liked the main characters more. And just some of the plot was done better in my opinion. Excited to see how the trilogy ends!

This was. A slog. Both Eamon's and Connor's points of view were terribly boring – so much so that the perspective changes entirely to Meara's around halfway. This is such a baseline middle-of-trilogy placeholder story and there's not really much to redeem it.
Moderate: Rape
There is a rape scene in early chapters and a more pronounced focus on Cahban's physical power over women than the previous book.
