4.5 This series is so great! This time we get Calvin and Ethan’s love story. I really enjoyed their connection throughout so it was nice to get their story. Plus, a lot more Ethan talking.
I enjoyed seeing everyone from Ethan’s perspective. I really love his and Dex’s friendship. And that Ash lets Ethan get away with a lot.
I also enjoyed getting more on Calvin and all he must deal with and work with. He’s so bad ass.
It’s great watching this team work together. And now that they can all have their relationships, it’s even more interesting. What an ending though, that sucks.

I enjoyed this installment in the series much more than the previous one. Calvin and Ethan make an adorable couple and I have really liked seeing their friendship develop into something more. Who knew someone could say so much while barely saying a word?! That said, the overarching storyline that runs through this series wasn't as present in this book, really only appearing in the last few pages in the form of that gasp-worthy cliffhanger.

Catch a Tiger by the Tail is Hobbs and Calvin's book.
More than any other couple, I wanted to see how the relationship between them will progress.
I adored Calvin and Hobbs as individuals, as friends and as lovers.
They both had rough childhoods: Calvin's father was abusive, he had his mother to rely on and Hobbs.
Hobbs father has dealt with medial issues that affected Hobbs and contributed to his mutism.
I admired the way Hobbs communicated with his family and friends. It was unique and spoke volumes of the love they had for him. They knew he had trouble expressing himself, and have learned to understand him and his needs without too many words exchanged.
Both Hobbs and Calvin had personal issues to deal with. Calvin was more open and willing to take their relationship to the next level. He was confident they could make it as a couple.
Calvin was fiercely protective of Hobbs and in this book, we got to see Hobbs true feelings, frustrations, pain and joy.
I like the direction Charlie Cochet took with 'Catch a Tiger by the Tail': the relationships between the Hobbs brothers, the pain they all carried and the love and support they had for one another.
The book ends with one of the most heartbreaking and intriguing cliffhangers!
The book is full of drama and action, but also great comic relief courtesy of Dex!!
