This book had the most plot of the first three entries in the series. That is probably a good thing, because Kira was my least favorite protagonist so far. Georgie was mediocre, and I really liked Liz, but Kira just really bugged me for most of the book. She grew on me towards the end, but I will be happy to move on to a different protagonist in the next one. The reason I rated it 3 stars instead of 2 was because I actually liked the plot of this book! I'm intrigued to unravel some of the mysteries that were set up. My biggest complaint is that I do not think the author handled the topic of infertility well. It almost definitely will trigger someone who has experienced infertility.Â
