Demi is fresh out of a long (long long long long) term relationship. Hunter has sworn off women. They are an unlikely pair, to say the least. But when friendship turns into something much more, they are nothing short of perfect for each other. These two face challenges from everyone around them. No one thinks they will be good together, and honestly, they are an unlikely pair. But, I think being unlikely is the reason they work so well. While Demi is quick-witted and sassy, Hunter is more drawling and sarcastic. The book is hilarious, the scenes are steamy. The book is amazing. However, the highlight of this book is the hockey team. I think that this is the first book that has really featured the teammates and their bond. Hunter is an amazing captain who deals with all of the shenanigans of his team. I loved these boys' dynamics and laughed out loud at some of their antics. (P.S. Elle Kennedy if you see this please give us a book about Hollis and Rupi. We need it.)
