I am just going to be up front with the elephant in the room. I have read some of the critical reviews of this book. I just couldn't help but to sit back and laugh. All the reasons they hated this book are all of the reasons I loved it. And it's weird that I say that, because when you see some of the reasons I loved it, you will think I'm insane.

Right off that bat.... I didn't really like most of the characters. They were vapid, selfish, unreliable, and unrelatable. And guess what. They are a big reason I enjoyed this book! You're probably wondering if I went insane, but I haven't been put in a padded room yet, so stop worrying.

These characters served their exact purpose. The author didn't try to sugar-coat or hide who the characters were like I've seen in other books. They fit into their "world" perfectly. They fit into the storyline perfectly. So many times in other books, characters who are supposed to be one way come off to me as being the exact opposite. Not in this book. I knew what to expect, and I knew it quickly.

To reference a review I read, this book did have a bit of a "Housewives" vibe. And I ate it up. It was spectacular. Normally, I wouldn't be all for the vibe in a book, but it is written so well, I just couldn't help myself. I kept chastising myself for enjoying it as much as I did.

All I am going to say at this point is, don't expect what you normally expect going into this one. This isn't like any of the author's previous books. This one is in a category all of its own. Just keep this saying in mind when you read this book... "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book! It’s everything The Last Mrs Parrish wished it could be lol.

None of these characters were likable but somehow I couldn’t stop reading!!!!

A bit of a twist, but not a ton of plot. Characters were well developed.
