This one tries to justify Rise of Skywalker. No. Nothing can justify that dumpster fire. Abrams himself has said that he didn’t plan out the trilogy before starting the first movie, so no, there is no way you can make any of that stupid excuse of a plot make even the remotest version of sense.

But up until they tried explaining away the lunacy of “Exegol” that idiot Abrams attempted to make plausible (it’s not, never will be. Same goes for the crap Chibnall is trying to put forth on DW) this graphic novel was pretty good. Made me hate Palpatine, but I was born hating him. So was more like the 1000000th reinforcement of that hatred.

A very interesting way to try to make sense of episode IX. Lucasfilm somewhat acknowledging that they messed up and trying to fix their mess by way of Vader. It’s a good take, even if it doesn’t solve the biggest problems with Rise of Skywalker.

Seeing the Vader/Luke and Anakin/Obi-Wan standoffs next to each other give new depth to the character, and I love it.
