Foundation by Lainey Davis follows Zack Brady and Nicole Kennedy through a pretty emotional story - one I for sure was not expecting. Lainey dug a lot deeper with these two than your average meet cute.

Carly was phenomenal like always. Carly just knows what I need to hear to keep me connected to the characters. You will always feel the vulnerability in each MC she reads for. Tom Taylorson was new for me and I will definitely been looking for more books he's narrated.

Overall I really liked this story, it was emotional, it was fun and full of witty sarcasm and you got to see all the Stag boys with their new families. I love seeing how Lainey is bringing these two families together with a touch of new love interest.

This was such a fun read.  I really enjoyed the banter between Nichole and Zack. I can relate to the body shaming Nichole endured growing up as a plus size girl. I appreciate her strength and her sassy attitude.

Super cute read. I didn't know it was the first of the 'Brady Family', so now I have to read them all. The banter between Nicole and Zack reminded me of my husband and I.

Enemies to lovers, dual POV, opposites attract, forced proximity, broken family (ish).

2/19/2023 - Now that I’ve listened to all the Stag Brothers books, I’m relistening to this & then diving into the rest of the Brady series.
