This was miles better than book one and it felt like the author was settling into the characters a little more. Both of the leads are so much more complex and loveable than the previous book. It was also surprisingly tender and sweet which is always surprising when it comes to mafia romance.
I was just a little bored by the end of this unfortunately and I have a feeling that each book in this series is going to follow a very similar formula because the three I’ve read so far have all felt very much the same. I wanted to binge the whole series but I’m already the tiniest bit over it.
CHECK THE CWs PRETTY PLEASE
I would recommend it if you like a mafia romance with a good dose of sweetness and a MMC that needs a little direction, if ya know what I mean.

I only wish we had seen more closure on his part, more healing. Or at least more details of it, especially from his pov.
Also Ronans character was so well developed and was genuinely so wonderful, but sadly Sasha’s fell a bit flat. Don’t get me wrong she was enjoyable, but I wanted more.
And I felt as though we were missing the “healing” part of Sasha’s story too. She had trauma she should have been working on as well, and we just didn’t rlly see that.
The ending felt a bit rushed and sadly, again, flat. For 75% of this book I thought I would be a 5/5⭐️ Read and sadly the last 25% just didn’t compare to the rest of the book.
