incest implied only. some outdated language - particularly the frequent use of the g slur for the main Romani character, as well as a couple outdated descriptors for Black and Asian characters (nonetheless, the book is still remarkable for its racially diverse cast written by a Black man in the 60s, and imo absolutely worth a read)
