Had no idea this was a short story rather than a full novel. Still a fun read - Holmes is always entertaining.

I loved this one! The fact Sherlock is outsmarted is one of the highlights especially as he is respected as a great detective! With all the adaptations of Sherlock Holmes tales I did expected this to be entirely different, yet the true story as written by Conan Doyle, is so refreshing and believable! It’s hard to believe that Sherlock is fictional when reading these books, or is that just me?

This was always one of my favourite adventures because Locky isn't usually bested, except by the woman.

I read it as a short story in the complete book of adventures. It is pretty amazing!
