I really love Doctor Aphra and her adventures. This story however didn’t feel that exciting. But the main detractor from this edition was the artwork. The artist has obviously changed, and it shows, with the characters lacking some of the spark that makes them so fun.

The amazing about Aphra is how she acts as an equal-opportunity foil for zealots on either side of the galactic war. The Rebels come out as unsympathetic as the average Imperial sycophant. Star Wars is a big galaxy and it's wonderful to see a character that allows creators to really stretch their reach across a largely unexplored setting outside of the Imperial/Rebel conflict.
