This book was amazing from start to finish. I loved how fleshed out all of the characters were and I loved how it ended. I wouldn't have minded it being just a standalone but I'm elated to see that a sequel is in the making! This is definitely now one of my favorite books!

It's official, V.E. Schwab is my favorite author. This book was so twisted and dark and beautiful that the entire time you don't think it could become anymore twisted and then Victoria proves you wrong. Time and time again. No words can do this book justice; all I'm going to say now is you need to read this book.

What an awesome take on the whole super hero / comic book genre. I started reading the book out of sheer curiosity how such a plot setup could work. And then it got really interesting and suspenseful without sacrificing the basic premise of the story or taking shortcuts. Wholeheartedly and thoroughly enjoyed it.
