I loved this. Ms. Marvel continues to be amazing. The stories in this volume resonated with me. I tend to take on too much. I love the characterization and what Kamala Khan represents. She is a necessary superhero in today's day and age. I highly recommend!

4,5/ Ms Marvel is one of my highest rated series. And that's because it gets better with each volume. This one deals with gentrification of working class and minority based neighborhoods in New York, the consequences every hero has to face of balancing superheroing and normal life, as well as the impact of being a household name and in this case, normal teenage girl struggles, such as your crush, who you previously rejected having a normal hipster girlfriend.

This series just gets better and better, more robust and complex and interesting while still funny and so gentle with the characters. Very glad I picked it up again.

Upon reading volume one, this series became one of my all time favourite things to read and this volume is no different. This series has everything you could possibly want and I adore it.

I laughed out loud (no one was around so I could be loud, not that it has stopped me before) several times with this book. Kamala is the ultimate dork and, like I mentioned in my review of her previous books, the perfect combination of old school Peter Parker and Captain Marvel. She's resourceful, feisty, an Avenger, but most of all she's a teenager that has trouble juggling school, family, friends, and superhero work. If that doesn't remind you of Spider-Man from the old days then you and I have nothing to talk about.
I love Kamala Khan, Marvel: keep shipping her!

This was by far one of the best in the series, and erased the disappointment I felt after reading volume 4. I really enjoyed the multiple stories going on through this whole volume and how they fit together to create a very cohesive picture. This story was fun and exciting, and I also enjoyed the focus on Kamala's inner conflict on how to juggle being a superhero vs. a present member of her family vs. good student, etc.
