The funniest and most devastating book I've ever read

I really enjoyed this book. War novels aren't my typical cup of tea, but I enjoyed the way that Vonnegut played with the structure of the novel to emphasize the absurdity of his topic. I appreciated his creativity, as well, and his being unafraid of pushing bounds into the truly ridiculous in a novel covering a very serious topic. It was a short and snappy read that really kept you on your toes and rewarded even a basic analysis of symbols/literary devices without being obnoxiously obvious.

Amazing book that I feel summarizes trauma in a really relatable but still unique way
