Sarcasm, Welsh hotties, and edible body glitter… all you could want in another Graves Glen installment.
Sir Purrcival studied Wells for a moment and then gave a sleepy-sounding "Not Dickbag."
Gwyn and Wells, successful business witch of Something Wicked and aforementioned Welsh transplant, bounced off of each other to my sheer delight, even in the beginning pages. There was just enough enemies to lovers vibes to really kick things off with sparks as Wells decides to open his very own magic shop in the tiny town. Is there really room for two?! Even after a surprise backroom magical make out they don’t lose their sarcastic banter. The two’s constant back and forth really moved things along in such a fun way. The magical mystery and increased page time of my favorite character, Sir Purrcival the talking cat, made this an enjoyable light read!

Gwyn Jones is a woman whom always knows what she wants and who she is. But when Wells Penhallow shows up and opens a shop similar to her own just across the street from her, and is devastatingly handsome to boot, things might not be so simple. Not to mention that her magic seems to be fading which ain’t good for the town of Graves Glen which she and her coven maintain and she’s the only member currently in town. Together Wells and Gwyn need to work together to figure out what’s happening to her magic before something wicked comes!

This was a cute follow up to the Ex Hex and I loved getting to know Gwyn better! A fun quick read with a decent amount of spice sprinkled in!

As always, I loved the effortless banter between all the characters. I went into this expecting a similar feel to THE EX HEX and although it felt a little slower than that one, it was still amazing. I loved Gwyns character in both books and glad we got to see how Vivi and Rhys are doing :) this book just made me feel good and it was just as funny as the first! I did think that the “conflict” in this book was kinda all over the place compared to THE EX HEX and so I was kinda lost for a bit but it made sense at the end. Loved this book! Thanks to netgalley for the gifted copy in exchange for my honest review!

I wish authors stop relying on sexual tension for romance. Why can't the two MCs get to know each other first and be comfortable with each other before thinking how fuckable the other person are. Honestly, this is generally the problem I have for the recent romance books and this book also got this problem.

Other than that, it was an okay read. It's good for passing the time.
