The book was fun to listen to while doing chores and needing something to follow but with not too much stakes. The premise is interesting and the plot certainly entertaining. However, way too much of the book is descriptions of different expensive things, which got boring quickly. Also, the main character had hardly any personality.

As a fan of the movie I’ve always wanted to read the book. To me, it’s just as sweet with more information and insight into the characters. Though I don’t know if I’d put up with Nick and his family…it truly is a romantic book. I wanted Rachel to go off just one good time though but I loved what I read.
