This book was beautifully written - I loved the world building, the characters, and the whole idea of the Glittering Court. And holy cow it took me on an adventure! The biggest downside, to me, was all the fade-to-black sexual stuff. I generally prefer books, especially YA books, to be cleaner than that, and while I appreciated that it did fade to black, I do wish there'd been less of that included at all in a book marketed for teens.
Moderate: Sexual content
Minor: Violence

It took me awhile to get into this book, it was going so slow and it didn’t hook me from the beginning. Also, it was very predictable and definitely a YA read. I enjoyed the ending but I’m not over ally excited about the next book or the final book in the trilogy.
Graphic: Sexual assault and Sexual violence
Moderate: Rape and Sexual content
Minor: Sexual harassment
