Not as fluid as the previous 3 books. It felt like

the idea of the cosmere was created during this book so all the context around it had to be added in. At times it was too much and either broke the flow of the book or made it feel like a filler for the next novel in the series.

Sanderson is renowned for his world building but the characters and the struggles they have are why I love the storm light archive series. There were so many moments in this book where I felt everything the characters did. I cried so much reading this book but I would re-read again in a heartbeat
