There wasn’t a lot of background about the FMC which I felt was kind of odd. The character development was amazing and the way they worked together was inspiring. But there was still a lot of unnecessary fluff. I didn’t hate it, but it wasn’t my favorite. I’m hoping I like the second book better.

Well, Carter Beckett might have made his way into my Top 5 Book Boys Of All Time. A hockey man who is gentle when he needs to be and…not gentle when he needs to be? Love.

I really enjoyed this book, although I could’ve done without the constant reminders about Olivia’s size, the “scandal” towards the end, and the fact that he proposed at Cara’s wedding (even though he had approval…and it was definitely Cara’s idea to begin with, I just know it).
