There isn't a lot to say that I haven't already said. It's wild, irreverent, funny. It lovingly turns fantasy tropes on their heads. This volume continues to expand the world and provide new insights into the characters. It's a strong follow-up to the story already told and continues to deliver everything that this series promises.

Very disappointing.
Weird plot jumps, another change in artist (although I do like the art and coloring, it's really annoying to have the characters look different with every collection), and none of the humor and charm from the first volume.
The story itself felt as contrived and forced as it was boring. If the next collection is this bad, that's it for me and the Rat Queens. I'll always have Sass & Sorcery, I guess...

I was pretty excited about the volume being Hannah-centric, and this one continues just after the story leaves off from volume 2. That being said, I was a bit let down with how the story went and I was kind of missing some of the flashback episodes that made the second volume fantastic. Also, as much as I wanted to love the artwork (because reasons), I wasn't digging the new style, sadly.

The change in art style was a bit off putting for me, as I didn't like this one at all. I lost track of the story because I got the sense that this volume was 'different' from the others, the illustrations considered, which is sad as quite a lot happened in this one.
Hoping for more Stjepan Sejic in the coming vols.
