Ok, I loved this book. I had seen a lot of mixed reviews so I was a bit skeptical but was consumed from the beginning. It was fun to switch it up to a more character-driven thriller rather than plot driven. The whole time I was questioning “why” and “how?!” making it fun to try to piece the puzzle pieces together! Ultimately leaving me with “wow” moments when twists and turns occurred. Especially when it makes the end extremely satisfying.

I thought the writing was fantastic and incredibly binge-worthy too. highly recommend adding this to your tbr list or if you’re in a reading slump!

I’ve had this one on my shelf for a while and typically enjoy domestic thrillers. Unfortunately this one just wasn’t for me. I got about 30% in and was very bored. Since there were multiple POV’s, it felt like the set up of the story was dragging on. Each of the female POVs didn’t feel like separate characters to me. I did like how it was segmented by week. I also liked the strange dynamic between Helen and Rachel, but it the build up felt slow. I kept waiting for something to happen.

Good! Kept me hooked the entire time.

Liked the POV chapters from the different characters.

-0.5 stars as it made Greenwich sound too nice

I actually really liked this book! I may drop a star at some point after I dwell on it, but it was exactly what I was in the mood for and I didn’t even know what it was about before starting it.

The plot ties up nicely and the narrators voice is lovely!

A satisfying read.
