I loved this book. December grows so much throughout this book and her love story with Josh leaves me smiling even while I’m not reading the book. It was more realistic than other romance reads. I also enjoy that she uses real places in Colorado.

Tahle knížka byla napsaná v roce 2014 (takže dlouho před Čtvrtým křídlem) a je to znát. Nejenom, co se oblečení a takových věcí týče, ale hlavně to bylo vidět na autorčině psaní. Nevím, jestli je tohle její prvotina, ale rozhodně to tak vypadalo.
Zezačátku jsem s knihou trochu bojovala, protože mi některé části připadaly, jak pro dvanáctiletý čtenáře a přišly mi fakt cringe, ale pak se to zlepšilo. Pak už se četla líp, měla spád a až na ty zvraty (ty byly ve většině fakt trapný), byla knížka v pohodě.
A teda, celkově jsem se asi nedokázala sžít s postavami, ať už hlavními nebo vedlejšími, protože ač bylo v knížce spousta smutných pasáží, nebrečela jsem ani jednou. Jediné postavy, které jsem si tak nějak oblíbila byl Gus a Josh.
Příběh celkově se mi líbil, zpracování už tolik ne.

I have yet to read a Rebecca Yarros book I have not liked. I really enjoyed the story. It definitely kept me reading. I'm not one to cry but this one almost brought me to tears.
