An amazing book about the terrible things people must go through who have Alzheimer's. It was so utterly human & raw.

A compassionate, human story about early-onset Alzheimer's disease. Non-sentimental, hard and sad, it's a love story between a family and a disappearing woman who is still valuable and worthy of respect and honor.

Beautiful book. Gives you insight on how your patients or family members with dementia think and feel. Helps you react and help them better and form better responses in conversations. so so sad

I loved this book, even though it scared me half to death. It made me think about how fragile life and mind are, and that we shouldn't take a single thing for granted because no matter our station in life, it can be ripped from us at any time.

I've been listening to the book on cd in the car and I'm frustrated by how stilted the conversation is... So, I started watching the movie. I love Julianne Moore and I think she does a beautiful job with the role. I dislike Kristin Stewart and yet, I thought she was fantastic. I think reading the book might have allowed me to create the personalities versus listening to the book on cd, but that's not what worked out.
