This is everything but nonsensical. Through his own writing (and drawing) style, you can have some clear bits of who he was and the things that worried him the most. A wordplay enthusiast who manifest the kind reality he was living in or had once lived in a short but considerably off-the-wall humour. There is more to John Lennon than meets the eye, when reading this book. Very recommended.

I loved John’s absurdist humor and weird language mix-ups throughout the text, but sometimes the lines come across as ablest and problematic. Beyond that, though, the art was fun and the words were entertaining. John Lennon was an undeniably talented individual. 🌿🍓

This was so dumb but I guess that’s the point (as Paul McCartney mentions in the introduction). I couldn’t help but read it in John Lennon’s voice in my head.

If Wonderland had a library, this book would be on its shelf.
It's been a long time since I have read this. When I was younger, I might have liked it more. The entire book reads like a combination of the Jabberwocky poem and someone who doesn't know how to spell. It's probably best read aloud so the meaning of the mangled, pun-filled sentences can be better understood. Once you get past the style, you can get to the imagery behind the words.
Also, reading it through this time around, I discovered a dark side to John Lennon. There is a bit of violence and death woven throughout.
After reading this, I need to go back and pay more attention to the wording of some of the later Beatles songs, like "I Am The Walrus".

From what little I did understand of this book, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
