Continuing on with the fifth book in my favorite romance series... Lyssa Kay Adams did not disappoint-- again! I love Colton SO much and Gretchen was loveable as well. This book combines two of my favorite tropes, second chance romance and grumpy/sunshine. The fun part about this though is the grumpy/sunshine is reversed (grumpy gal w sunny guy)! I loved the Christmas aspect (definitely recommend reading this one around the holiday season to get it's full effect!) and enjoyed the playful banter between these two. Also-- for the love of family drama!!! Of course, the Bromance boys are hilarious per usual-- I always bust a gut when the guys get together. Truly a great addition to the series and I can't wait for the next(?)

Thank you Berkley and NetGalley for providing an arc for an honest review

I love this series so much! I truly cannot describe the amount of joy I get when I read a Bromance Book Club book. There isn't as much Bromance Book Clubbing in this book as previous ones but it definitely works since Colton has been a part of the book club for a while and the dynamic of the group isn't so much about the book club anymore but the fact that they are all family. There is a great grumpy x sunshine relationship with the FMC, Gretchen is the grumpy one and the MMC, Colton is the sunshiny one. you. Mix that with a second chance romance, forced proximity, and Holiday Joy and you have  A Very Merry Bromance.

As usual the guys are amazing and their group dynamic brings me so much joy. Their love and support for each other and the way they are there in a drop of a (Santa) hat. Which brings me to the most important thing about this book. Vlad in a Santa suit! This man needs to be protected at all costs! I just love him so much!

Aside from the guys, the relationship between Colton and Gretchen is great. Both of their character arcs are amazing and brought me to tears at times. I felt for Gretchen and her struggle to accept love and for Colton who is trying to show her that she is deserving of love despite her past and how she grew up. As usual there are important topics addressed and moments where as a reader I was humbled. That's part of why I love this series so much. It makes you feel all the feels and also makes you consider things you may not have thought of before.

Do yourself a favor and pick up A Very Merry Bromance this holiday season.

[Bromance bookclub #5]

“The sunshiny one always falls for the grumpy one, honey. It’s science.”

Maybe she doesn’t want to run away. Maybe she just wishes someone would ask her to stay.

🎄 Second chance romance
🎄 Insta-love
🎄 Sunshine & Grump
🎄 Estranged family
🎄 Some growth in MCs; mainly surrounding familial hang ups and self worth. Their communication as a couple does not develop as much as previous books in the series & there is a lot left unsaid/unresolved by the ending.
I’m not convinced they could come back from the third act break up this quickly…

🎄 Found family
🎄 Lawyer & Country Music Star
🎄 Emotional & physical abuse by a family member are discussed & somewhat glossed over. 🚩
🎄 Epilogue

⚠️ Mild violence, physical abuse (not on page), emotional abuse, toxic familial relationships, blackmail, an arrest, references of deportation.
