Dreamy, dark, and enjoyable as the guiltiest of pleasures is. By far my favorite story in this collection is "Other Factors," but they're all lovely. Looking forward to reading more Gaitskill as soon as I can.

I didn’t finish it mainly because the writing and the stories didn’t really appeal to me. Rarely do I not finish a book but when the story brings you down so much that you get a headache just from thinking about it, best to stop:) not for me personally.
