Fun action thriller. Almost as good as the first of the series. I think FitzSimmons should move on from Gibson Vaughn's sidekicks.

Very solidly entertaining! While none of the books in the series have topped the first installment for me, this one came a lot closer.

It was fun to spend the majority of the book with Gibson, Jenn, Dan, and George. In any combination, these are four fascinating characters. There's some nifty hacker stuff, as usual, and a few lines that made me snort with laughter.

I really liked the world that FitzSimmons created in southern Portugal, especially since I visited that country a few years back. My only complaint is that the villain was a bit cartoonish, but the rest of the characters were well drawn.

Love Gibson and pals wherever they roam

They had to get out of the USA and this volume is where they landed and what they got into. Never dull, always interesting with a twist. These characters stay true throughout all the books and I love that!

A favourite series

This series is so good, each book different, each one so satisfying to read. The stakes here are a departure from the first three but it loses nothing in moving the location and the type of problems that Gibson and the others find themselves in. In fact, it invigorated the series and has me on the edge for the next installment. There's so much character growth and you can see how far everyone has come from book 1 until now. The setting and the characters are rich and complex and of course there are so much questions left to be answered even though the author manages to provide an incredibly satisfying ending. Read all of these in order to get the most of them. You won't regret it.
